Susie Owen is a Director at Department for Education, whose responsibilities include Early Years, Childcare, Families and Analysis and has worked on early years and childcare policy for the last 8 years. Susie’s teams are working with the sector and local authorities to deliver the Childcare Expansion Programme and she is also jointly responsible with the Department for Health and Social Care for the roll out of the Family Hub / Start for Life programme across 75 Local Authorities.
