Maria Goncalves is an experienced SEND Manager at London Early Years Foundation - LEYF, with a strong commitment to promoting inclusive practice and improving outcomes for children in particularly those who present with special educational needs and disabilities. She works collaboratively with nursery teams, families, and external professionals to ensure children receive timely support and equitable access to learning opportunities. Maria leads SEND quality assurance, workforce development, and strategic projects across LEYF. She is involved in local, national and international research initiatives and contributes to the development of best practice within early years SEND provision. Her work focuses on empowering teachers and supporting children to reach their full potential.
