Corinna Laing
Corinna Laing has spent over two decades driving excellence in the Early Years sector, guided by her belief that quality isn’t a metric — it’s a promise to every child. Her career began at The Cedars Neighbourhood Nursery & Sure Start Children’s Centre in Exeter, where she built a thriving community hub that gained national recognition. She went on to hold senior leadership roles with Action for Children, including overseeing Spring Nurseries and OSCARs as Operational Director. Corinna has also contributed nationally as a T-Level Education & Childcare panel member, Ofsted Inspector, and speaker at the Westminster Education Forum, including alongside MPs on two-year-old funding policy. Her expertise is widely recognised in the sector press she was quoted in Nursery World’s 2021 safeguarding feature “Behind Closed Doors,” has contributed to the NMT Owners Club on workforce development, and is regularly invited to share insight on curriculum, leadership, and safeguarding. Today, as Chief Quality Officer at Family Adventures Group, Corinna leads strategy to ensure outstanding quality across nurseries, with a relentless focus on safeguarding, staff development, and equity for disadvantaged children.
