Dr. Chenyan Xu is the Chief Executive Officer of iStep Learning Limited, a UK-based education group he has led since 2023. He oversees the group’s strategic growth, quality standards, and financial sustainability while working closely with investors, regulators, and local communities.

Dr. Xu earned his PhD in Education (Child Psychology) from the University of Cambridge, following earlier studies in linguistics and education. He began his career as a university lecturer before moving into education investment and leadership. From 2018, he held senior roles at Jiayi International Education Investment Group and later as Executive Director of Jiayi Education Holdings Limited, overseeing international operations and education investments. He has led successful investments in EdTech companies including EZ Education and Mathigon, combining innovation with practical application in teaching and learning.
