In the Leadership and Operational Excellence theatres, you’ll find training sessions designed to help you boost your management skills and supercharge how you run your nursery business.

Learn from the experts and make sure you’re up-to-date with the latest developments in nursery qualifications, safeguarding, SEND provision and more. We know that managing a nursery requires a huge variety of skills, so you can attend sessions covering areas from recruitment and marketing to curriculum design and food education. You’ll also have the opportunity to hear from Ofsted, and speak to them directly at their exhibition stand if you have any further questions.

CPD opportunities

We’ve got lots of informative CPD sessions in The Knowledge Hub (and other streams too) that will help you with your career development. They’re all fully accredited by The CPD Group, and you will be able to collect your CPD certificate immediately at the event.

In this stream, you can get a crash-course in essential business skills for nursery managers, improve your people management skills, and find out everything you need to know about early years apprenticeships. There’s also an audit masterclass, equipping you with the tools you need to assess and optimise your nursery business, plus an Ofsted-focused session to ensure you’re prepared for your next inspection.

If you’re a nursery business owner, our Nursery Management Today Owners Club theatre (new at this edition of Nursery Management Show!) has an agenda designed exclusively for you.

Join this high-level stream to hear from trusted advisers about the current state of the nursery market, M&A, legal considerations for the upcoming year and more. We also have an update from the Department for Education and an expert panel discussion on policy in the sector with Neil Leitch (EYA), Purnima Tanuku (NDNA), June O'Sullivan (LEYF) and Charlotte Roberts (kinderzimmer).

On the first day of Nursery Management Show, make sure you visit the Main Stage at 2:00pm to see TV’s Alex Jones (The One Show) interview Sarah Mackenzie, the CEO of Storal. Alex will be asking Sarah about her career journey and what it takes to be an effective early years leader.

Then, we’ve got more industry leaders at the Main Stage on day two! Angelica Celinska, from The Voice of Early Childhood podcast, will be hosting a panel focused on the challenges of recruitment and retention in early years, plus another exploring the personal and professional journey of three CEOs.
