Purposeful play is vitally important for children's learning and development and how we, as educators nurture that is a constant source of reflection, especially through the post pandemic times of reform. The increasing number of children within settings with a diverse range of needs means that we have to ensure our provision is cross-curricular and responsive to the uniqueness of each child and how, in-turn, this can help to bridge that widening gap.
